Vincent Kasoka

I have been creating since childhood and I graduated with a bachelors degree in fine arts. Primarily I work with mixed media on paper and canvas. I use my work as a medium for addressing social and political activism, racism, modern day slavery, feminism, child and spousal abuse. My brushes and pencils explore themes in tribal abstract, sports, realism, portraits, conservation of wildlife and environmental protection.

I want to breathe life into my work and conceptualize my culture so that its traditional designs, ideas, lifestyles are displayed on the canvas, paper or sculpture. I read as much as I can before recreating the beauty that exists in the ruins of ancient and contemporary societies. my art speaks to me and communities.
